…and now the tourist board have made it easier for you to stay awake and enjoy the extensive range of events and festivals which will take place in Malta throughout 2017.
This week the Malta Tourist Authority (MTA) launched their 2017 calendar of events. All of the events taking place in Malta and Gozo for the upcoming year can be found in the MTA’s new 88-page calendar.
The calendar lists all events which may be of interest, including musical events, sports, folklore, re-enactments and others.
The main events for each month, such as, the Valletta International Baroque Festival in January; the International Fireworks Festival in April; Isle of MTV Malta Special in June and the Notte Bianca in October, are highlighted with greater prominence by the MTA. The calendar also includes a handy ‘Index of Traditional Village Feasts’ and ends with a forward glimpse to 2018 when Valletta will be ‘European Capital of Culture’.
The Malta Tourism Authority recognises that many people visit Malta or choose to live there because there are so many events and attractions, that you could spend your time enjoying.
Start planning your next trip to Malta and make sure you get to enjoy the amazing array of events planned for 2017.
